In three rodent strains used as models of induced EAE (see Materials and Methods), we revealed autoAbs to one immunodominant region (MBP124 147) in C57/BL6 mice, two regions (MBP24 44 and MBP72 139) in SJL mice, and two regions (MBP40 60 and MBP107 170) in DA rats (Fig. 1).
