To optimize this method, we used input genomic DNA from rice and arabidopsis, two model systems with well-characterized genomes [ 9, 10]. Figure 2 compares the effect of the order of size selection versus ligation to the adapters by comparing the yield and size of sequenced fragments to the total number predicted from the genome sequence of the target.
By virtue of the proposed scene change detection method, we can handle input video containing more than one scene.
In this method, we assume the input SNR to be 0 dB and scale the mixture as described in Section 3.1.
Although we could have used our own parametric model to generate the synthetic data, to avoid the possibility of giving an advantage to our method, we generated the input data according to the template function described in (Weiner et al., 2010).
