A complementary technology to shape grammars is the concept of the Generative Modeling Language, or GML for short, introduced by Berndt et al. [31] where an architectural or archeological asset is described by a set of low-level operations on (control) mesh components.
Once the limb model is set to the mesh component and the model data are imported to Grasshopper, the arrangement function can determine the mesh volume central point P1, and locate the 2 mesh central points, P2 and P3, on the two ends of limb to form the P23 axis (Fig. 4a).
When gear fault and bearing fault occur simultaneously, the compound fault signal of the gearbox contains meshing components (related to the gear fault) and periodic impulse components (related to the bearing fault).
Then, the compound fault signal is decomposed into the meshing component and the periodic impulse component using MCA.
In addition, because the rotating speed is low, the calculated gear mesh frequency [36] and its harmonics are concentrated at a low frequency range, and thus, a low-pass digital filter is used to cover the main gear mesh components of the vibration signals, and cut-off frequencies of 650 and 900 Hz are chosen for the low-pass digital filter at 300 and 400 r/min, respectively.

In light of this fast exchange, it is perhaps not too surprising that these mesh components do not hang around following MT depolymerization.
Potentially, 3D views of K-fibers in situ will allow us to dock molecular structures of mesh components as has been achieved for other cellular systems (Lucic et al., 2013).
