In this study, it was only possible to perform member checking with two of the informants.
While it was not possible to conduct member checking with the respondents specifically about their comments and the derived themes, as the survey was anonymous, the authors did review the MUs that were extracted with an advisory group of mothers of individuals with ASD to ensure that the generated themes were appropriately linked to anonymous content.
