With increasing the heating temperature, the POC melted as shown by Fig. 2c, where a clear oxide shell can be seen.
At higher ATs above 800 °C, the self-assembled Au NPs can only be synthesized by a very short time annealing, such as 30 s and the extended dwelling time (DT) or AT can trigger surface melting as shown in Figs. 9 and 10.
However it is much less prone to bias at the extremes of the range of melting points as shown by the slope of the line through the residuals: -0.43 for WAAC/SVM, -0.53 for Random Forest.
It is impossible to currently identify the mutations responsible for the higher thermostability of HotAldO since the sequence identity is only 48%, while far fewer mutations can potentially bridge the 23 °C gap in melting temperature, as shown by protein engineering carried out on other enzymes (Reetz et al. 2006; Eijsink et al. 2004).

For relatively low fixed extensions, (<1/2 of the length of the overstretching plateau), a fraction of the double helix remains melted upon relaxation, as shown in Figure 4, panel b.
In order to check the effect of the melt composition on K D pl − melt Ca − Na, previous experimental data obtained at 100 to 300 MPa with various ratios of Al2O3/SiO2 of basaltic melt were compiled, as shown in Figure 2b.
This seems to be associated with the change in viscosity of PLA melt containing PEG plasticizer, as shown in Figure 2. Therefore, it was found that the plasticizer content is a critical parameter affecting the fiber diameter and morphology.
The melting of this thermally-cycled sample is a sharp single peak (melting temperature 427 K) as shown in Figure S1 (see Additional File 5), and which indicates a high level of purity of the sample.
