Studies show that one of the key aspects in order to prevent early school abandonment and hence boost medium educational levels is a well-functioning vocational training system (Gangl (2003), Haywood and Tallmadge (1995), Digest (1987), Plank et al. (2005) and Field et al. (2007)).
