The survey included 21 reuse options, which were clustered into three reuse categories, namely: low, medium, and high contact levels.
Compared to the reference category, comprising low, medium and unknown contact levels, the high and very high contact groups showed significantly raised OR of 10.78 955% CI 1.18 to 98.43) and 21.26 (2.26 to 199.78), respectively, with a significant trend (p value=0.003) across the categories (table 2).
These levels are upper level (company level), medium level (project level), and subnetwork level.
Each prediagnosis occupation of cases and controls was therefore categorised in terms of its estimated contact level into one of three broad categories, along the lines followed previously: 13 18 19 (1) low, medium and unknown; (2) high and (3) very high occupational contact levels.
Contact levels of occupations were categorised as: low/medium (reference group), high or very high contact levels, as in previous studies, with provision for certain unusual occupations.

The low exposure group in the combined parental analysis consisted of children whose both parents had a low contact level, the high exposure group consisted of children with either parent having a high contact job, and the remaining children were categorised as the medium group.
Medium-level contact was defined as touching a living case-patient with diarrhea, vomiting, or bleeding; touching clothes or sheets soiled with stool, vomitus, or blood; or touching remains.
You can control how much privacy you want on a very granular, contact-by-contact level.
But random contacts are quick, of low contact-level, and thus yield negligible contact-level-hours per-person-per-day.
