In order to improve the quality of extraction from raw medicinal materials for clinical preparations, a series of integrated mathematic models for transitivity of Q-markers in quantitative analysis of TCM were established.
In a previous study in which clinical tests of cosmetics comprising oriental medicinal materials for atopic dermatitis were conducted, the skin pH level increased from 5.4 before treatment to 5.6 after treatment; thus, the skin became slightly acidic (Kang et al. 2009).
