Several types of stents are bleed designed and studied to improve stent function, but with limited success.
The median stent patency time of our bilateral metal stenting was 29 weeks, which was similar to the 130 to 239 day range [ 17, 22, 24- 27] reported by other authors, except for [ Naitoh et al. 21], who reported a median stent patency of 488 days.
