A total of 36 consecutive patients were included in the study (52.8% men) with a mean (SD) age of 38 (6.4) years; 88.9% performed manual work with repeated movements and forceful activities affecting the epicondylar muscles (eg, officials, plumbers, waiters or firemen) and 75% practised sports with manual mechanical loading (eg, paddle tennis).
