Chlorinated tap water during the pre-upgrade and post-upgrade samplings contained 11 (mean total concentration = 2.7 μg L− 1; n = 5) and 10 HDBPs (mean total concentration = 4.5 μg L− 1), respectively.
The mean KD for Fe: 13.4 compared with the mean total concentration of 173 mg/Kg indicates almost 13 times (8 %) attenuation of the metal before reaching groundwater.
Under chlorine-gas disinfection conditions 13 HDBPs (mean total concentration = 1.4 μg L− 1) were detected in the WWTF effluent, whereas under UV disinfection conditions, only one HDBP was detected.
Another study that analyzed 13 biosolids samples collected from German WWTPs revealed the detection of mono- through penta-BDFs at a mean total concentration of 1,170 ng/kg dw (range: 210 to 3,050 ng/kg dw).

The most reliable method was the multiplication of the measured concentration in the lavage fluids with a correction factor resulting from the proportion of the mean total protein concentrations of effusion and joint flushes.
In the present study, the mean unconjugated serum BPA concentration in dams exposed either gestationally or gestationally/lactationally to BPA250 was 1.25 ng/mL, even though the mean total BPA concentrations were almost three times higher in dams exposed gestationally/lactationally than only gestationally.
