The EcoSim rarefaction species richness test on Barn, Western Screech, Spotted, and Great-horned Owls showed that lineage diversity from 30 randomly selected owls for 1000 replications resulted in a low mean diversity for Western Screech (2.65) and Barn Owls (1.99) and a high mean lineage diversity for Spotted Owls (14.99) and Great-horned (14) (Figure 2).
