Consensus over what constitutes effective MDT working is high, and MDT members remain positive about MDTs [ 5, 6].
After each meeting, field notes were written on MDT features (eg, agenda, attendee job titles, presence of an MDT coordinator), context (eg, reference to national policy/guidance and local resource issues) and process (eg, levels of participation, role of the chair, complexity and uncertainty of problem, and clarity and documentation of decisions).

9 Recording MDT discussions in an unstructured form, such as free-text clinical notes, scanned documents, pdfs, hinders the process of accurate measurement of MDT performance as computer-based data analysis and auditing tools cannot be used on unstructured data.
Note that, from a theoretical viewpoint, stress-induced MDT or LC-NE reactions are unlikely to outlast such a delay and to account for these observations.
