The correlation coefficient between drip loss and colour score of LM was negative and highly significant (r = −0.62, P < 10−4); two adjacent SNPs associated with both traits were within a region of 11.12 Mb (between 84.83 and 95.95 Mb) on SSC9, which indicates that this region may contain a pleiotropic QTL (Table 3).
