Taken together these results demonstrate that for these tumour suppressor genes, (i) miRNA-TSG interactions are significantly enriched for across cancer types, (ii) miRNA-TSG interactions are strongly associated with the phenotypic hallmarks of cancer, and (iii) miRNA-TSG interactions may show increased importance in cases with wild-type TSG.
In such cases, the PET may show increased metabolism in the unaffected vocal cord due to compensatory hypertrophy (Fig. 7b).
Occasionally, when radiography, CT, or MRI are equivocal, bone scintigraphy may show increased radiotracer uptake, suggestive of Lisfranc injuries [41].
Uncomplicated facial fillers, FBG, non-granulomatous inflammation and abscess associated with facial fillers may show increased uptake on FDG PET-CT/MRI.

Nevertheless, after surgical removal of a gland or muscle the contralateral gland or muscle may show increased FDG uptake (Fig. 10) mimicking tumour recurrence and careful analysis of postoperative neck changes can help to solve this diagnostic dilemma.
