They found that the distribution of nutrients is influenced by tidal cycle as indicated by changes in tidal height.
The effect of tidal influence on DO and pH is also witness by the significant, although weak, correlation between tidal height and DO, tidal height and pH, for most of the time periods (Table 1).
Water temperature was positively correlated with tidal height from 31 May to 26 July (Table 1).
