For GMM recognition, they apply the features consisting first of all of the MFCC parameters, complemented with supra-segmental ones (mean, maximum, and minimum values of F0, the maximum steepness and dispersion of F0[37], intensity, low-pass intensity, high-pass intensity, etc.[40]).
