The field strength is set such that (2 p_{max}/b^{2}_{max}=100), where global maxima of pressure (p_{max}) and magnetic field strength (b^{2}_{max}) do not necessarily coincide.

The HR (heart rate), LVSP (left ventricular systolic pressure), LVEDP (left ventricular end-diastolic pressure), +LVdp/dt (the maximum rate of pressure development) and –LVdp/dt (maximum rate of pressure decay over time) of sham-operated and HF rats with vehicle, NaHS and PAG treatments were measured by methods described previously [ 11].
