Biomechanical test was performed on the bone grafts as compression test to simulate the axial loading on the tibia on weight bearing based on the maximum load, stress to failure and strain to failure under compression test.
The data derived from the load deformation and stress strain curves were expressed as mean ± standard error on the mean (SEM) for each group, and the maximum load, stiffness, stress, and strain were measured and recorded.
Using the recorded data during the tests, the following parameters are presented and discussed: maximum load capacity, stress and strain distribution in structural components (reinforcements, structural steel and on concrete surface), interstory drifts, cracking patterns, deformation and degradation capacity.
