Individual thermoreceptors have ongoing activity at static constant temperatures of 30°C or more, following a bell-shaped curve with maximum discharges at 40 43°C [55].
The maximum discharge capacity, at 20 mA g−1, amounts to 299 mA h g−1.
Event peak discharges were calculated using the Manning's equation from daily measurements of maximum discharge height at 11 crest stage gauges.
The examination of the variation of discharge capacity as function of the cycle number (Fig. 3) reveals that the alloys possess good activation performances, attaining their maximum discharge capacities at the first cycle.
The LiFePO4/Li batteries exhibit a good cycling and rate performance under 40 °C, whose maximum discharge specific capacity at 0.1 C is 160.6 mandg−1, and 94.7% can be retained after 60 cycles.

The sample C31 has the smallest capacity decline because the specific capacity at the discharge current 10 mA was 178 F/g and the change in capacity with the increasing current up to 100 mA does not exceed 18%. Figure 6b also shows that for samples C31, C33, and C34, the voltage drop at maximum discharge current 100 mA does not exceed 14%.
