At the maximum dose of 10 μCi, cell survival when treated with Bi-C595 was reduced to 5 10%, while those treated with nonspecific Bi-A2 AIC was 90 95%, and cDTPA-C595 or C595 MAb alone were more than 95%.
At the maximum dose of Bi-PAI2 (10 μCi) cell survival was reduced to 10% for PC3 cells while at the same dose of Bi-BSA cell survival was 92%.
Cell survival was analyzed using residual (or restricted) maximum likelihood (REML) analysis (GenStat, 15th Edition, VSN International, UK).
Interestingly, 200 μg/ml of Nano-CAT showed maximum protection from H2O2-toxicity and no significant difference in cell survival from untreated control.
Significant protection of creatine and PCr was achieved at 2.5 mM (12.2% and 17.8% increase in cell survival, as compared with the 6-OHDA group), and maximum protection was achieved at a concentration of 5 mM (24.6% and 26.4% increase in cell survival; Figure 2(a) and (c)).
To make the cell survival data comparable with each other, we first compiled the known Maximum Achieved Plasma Concentration data (Cmax) for all 28 drugs stated from the literature (Table 1-column 5).
Maximum cytotoxic activity of MEUF was established for Hep-G2 with lowest OD or percent cell survival; highest percent cell inhibition with significant difference (p > 0.05) was compared to HT-29 and MCF-7.
The reduction of maximum stress of the F-actin-FLNa network by these two mutations, therefore, might affect cell survival under large mechanical stress.
Maximum protection was obtained at a concentration of 5 mM (20.8% and 26.6% increase in cell survival; Figure 2(b) and (d)).
The difference between the three radionuclides in terms of cell survival, as shown in Fig. 3, is striking, especially since for Lu the maximum activity of 555 MBq was not analysed, whereas for the other two the maximum activity was used.
