The homozygous ARTE10 is among those lines displaying a relatively early plaque onset and a high maximal plaque burden (table 1)[26], [29], [34] [37]]–[34] [37]
As shown in Figure 6B, anti IL-7 treatment of KO mice severely reduced their ability to clear infection as maximal parasite burden was observed in the tissues of these animals.
POPMAX (CFU/ml) is the theoretical maximal bacterial burden within the HFIM.
