It is indeed a matter of great joy and honor for me to present my music at the Metropolitan Museum for the music lovers of New York.
That said, having just seen the instigator of the campaign appear on Sky News and suggest with a straight face that "the chart doesn't represent the music that people in the UK like" it is a matter of some considerable joy to note that people have participated in bringing to fruition an idea conjured up by a total idiot.
But when we are in the pitch of grief — or, for that matter, in the full sunshine of joy — what form, what blank, what cause, whether final, immediate, or underlying, could possibly answer that question to anyone's satisfaction?
No matter that the tears were tears of joy, the image of his wet face has now become an internet by-word for loss, failure and sadness.
But when the chorus produced its beatific song of joy, little else mattered.
It's a matter of finding the place where joy and fulfilment resides.
Of course "Dreams of Joy" is about much bigger matters.
But that doesn't matter, because the joy of this type of car is that it shines come rain or… well, shine.
