Based on the trivariate pair-copula construction for the bivariate linear circular copula by Perlman and Wellner (Symmetry 3 574-99, 2011) and the Theorem of Carathéodory, which states that any valid correlation matrix is a finite convex combination of extreme correlation matrices, we generate a class of closed-form analytical 3-universal copulas.
Thus, to ensure its specific targeting to the mitochondrial matrix we generated a recombinant mitochondrial-sAC (mt-sAC) by adding a N-terminal cleavable presequence from the subunit c of human ATPase (Manfredi et al, 2002a) to the rat sAC isoform.

The unified and coherent matrix of data we generated pertaining to evolution, genetics, transcription, structure, anatomic distribution, and regulation of the entire human Hsp70 family should provide a solid context for future studies and for the development of therapeutic means specifically targeted to well-defined family members [ 13].
To discern whether the pattern of genetic divergence was more closely related to geographic location or time of isolation, we generated matrices of pairwise comparisons of genetic, geographic, and temporal distances, and used Mantel's test to evaluate correlations between the matrices.
