I used a subset of the matrix of complete mitochondrial genome matrix presented by Hassanin et al. [ 8], comprising 112 extant bovids, two moschids, six cervids, three giraffids, one antilocaprid, and two tragulids (these counts include in a few cases more than one individual of the same species).
Using this multiplex approach, novel epitopes from influenza antigens hemagglutinin and matrix protein presented by multiple class II alleles were identified in a single experimental setting.
