Danshen root is a kind of medical material with activity of blood flow promotion and blood-stasis elimination, which has been frequently used for cardiovascular and hematological disorders in China.
Recently, graphene has been noticed as promising materials to various applications resulted from high stability and surface area, and it has been applied to fabricate metal-free electrocatalysts [117, 118], in which novel materials with higher activities in comparison with N-doped CNT was reported that showed comparable activities with commercial Pt/C catalysts [119].
This challenge is compounded by the fact that cells are active materials, with the activity of cytoskeletal proteins both driving shape deformation and conferring on cells their emergent material properties [ 2, 10].
