Five domains of functional capacity (material handling, postural tolerance, coordination and repetition, hand and finger strength, and energetic capacity) are tested.

Functional outcome probably is not determined by simple ROM ranges alone, but also by the actual capacity for material handling in elevated and axially rotated arm positions.
