I later worked closely with two other commercial directors who had excellent ideas for documentaries or features — in one case, we shot a great deal of material for projects that didn't crystallize; in another, the filmmaker had written a marvellous script that could have been filmed on a low budget but without the range of amenities to which he was accustomed, and he didn't do it.
Geared to ages 7 to 12, "Counter Culture -- Family Day" features packets of art materials for projects to do at each installation; they include pennies to throw into Jean Shin's "Wishing Well," a work about immigrants' dreams.

Mr. Leslie eventually completed two trips, the one that began on inauguration day and another last year — after the Deepwater Horizon disaster could be added to the list of calamities — that together provided the material for his project, "Stormbelt".
So, we got to record a lot of new material for that project.
