To solve the problem that the transition hydraulic support cannot cave top coal when the rear scraper conveyer, which occupies the back-caving space with the drive unite, adopts the matching manner of end capacity discharge, we design the cross side-discharge scraper matching manner, as shown in Fig. 8, which raises the top coal recovery ratio by more than 1.5%.
