Even with a nascent, scattered market, Unity is already one of the… ahem… unifying forces behind VR/AR development.
Integration means market unity, standardization, identification of benchmarks that may enable peer-to-peer comparison, unification of policies whenever possible, resource pooling whether hard or soft, and the elimination of barriers.
Although its ingredients are suspect (an odd blend of ultra-nationalists, communists, liberals, Christian Democrats and pure opportunists), this hastily concocted group shows that you can sell almost anything if it is new and heavily marketed.Unity's leader, Sergei Shoigu, is Russia's long-time minister for disaster relief.
But Pam Danziger, the president of Unity Marketing, a market research firm in Stevens, Pa., who has studied the dolls and action figures, noted, "Men want to appear very rational when it comes to collecting and will cite the investment opportunities, but under the surface is the same emotional reaction and motivation that drives a 10-year-old boy".

By 2026 the main consumers of luxury will be millennials (or generation Y), people born in the 1980s and 90s, says Unity Marketing, an American market-research firm.

And in a survey last year of 1,300 affluent shoppers by Unity Marketing, a Pennsylvania-based consulting and marketing group, respondents ranked the United States first (higher than Italy or France) in perceived manufacturing quality of luxury goods.
"The marketers that have been targeting the super wealthy are going to be OK in this marketplace," says Pamela Danziger, founder of consumer research and retail consulting firm Unity Marketing.
