Contrary to PL, Raman mapping detects not only semiconducting but also metallic tubes, and it is less sensitive to nanotube bundling than PL.
Inference was aided by GraphPad InStat (version 3.00, GraphPad Software, Inc., San Diego, CA, USA) MAP DNA was amplified from the blood of 33 out of 59 T1DM patients (55.9%) whereas MAP was detected only in 18 out of 79 healthy controls (22.7%) indicating a statistically highly significant difference (Table 1).

Although these studies frequently mapped many (>10) QTL, most detected only a small number (1 to 4) of stable QTL that each explained 14 46%PV and were consistent across environments, years, genetic backgrounds, and occasionally isolates or races of the pathogen, with the exception of Danan et al. (2011) and Miklas et al. (2006), which reported consensus QTL maps for a given trait.
The positions of QTL are distributed across much of the genome with 12 of the 21 linkage groups having QTL detected in both mapping populations, two linkage groups have QTL that were detected only in the BCIB map, while five linkage groups have QTL that were detected only in the BCIF map.
Of the 170 CEU hotspots identified in the ABG map the YRI ABG map identifies only 50%% while, in contrast, the YRI WGS map detects 70%%.
Thus some small effect QTLs could be detected only with relative low stringency using the RFLP/SSR map, but could be detected with higher stringency using the SNP bin map, indicating that the high-density SNP bin map improved the QTL detection power.
With milk ELISA, we detect only 1%% (1/91) of the animals as positive for Map.
Regarding the relative amounts of IFN- γ induced by C1, C2, and PPD-B in naturally Map-infected cattle, PPD-B and C2 detected 6/17 and 4/17 positive animals, respectively, while C1 detected only one.
Last year, they detected only 97 individuals.
