Thin films of fibrils were characterised by infrared synchrotron mapping, scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy.
Electron probe micro analysis (EPMA) mapping, scanning electron microscopy/energy dispersive X-ray analySEM/EDAX/EDand and X-ray diffraction (XRD) were used to characterize the microstructure of the deposits.
