Staff included the Director of Public Health, project manager, clinical lead, public health nurses, pharmacy advisor (medicines management), community services manager, a professional executive committee member and the IT database developer.
The people managing projects (the project management community of practice) are increasingly important, requiring professional development and training.
District health managers are often found to be particularly weak in systems management (community involvement and intersectoral co-operation), monitoring activities and the systematic organization of meetings.
Thirty-eight challenges were identified, classified and discussed in order to provide the knowledge management community with practical evidence, and also to inform future research directions in managing product development knowledge.
"Currently, the investment management community doesn't care.
"The recommendations we have announced today seek to achieve similar reductions within our senior management community.
He added that the islands' wealth management community were all wondering what I was doing here.
"This was ultimately a triumph of common sense and the investment management community standing up to fulfil their responsibilities to their investors," he said.
"There is a sigh of relief on the part of the fund management community," said Denis Bastin, a partner with consulting firm William M. Mercer.
"We have spoken to many in the management community and the artist community - the more people listened, the more they understood," he said.
But Half Moon Bay makes it easier for others to follow - and harder for the rest of the management community to avoid answering the question: where do you stand?
