Despite having mature testes [ 40], SUB males present lower androgen levels [ 27], lower expression of secondary sex characters [ 40], and undergo androgen-dependent morphological changes in the urinary bladder and urine storage capacity, reducing its volume to a more female-like size [ 25], which may also affect the composition of their urine.
In this study, both males and females presented lower daily movements in urban fragmented landscapes contrary to results found in fragmented agricultural and in continuous woodland landscapes for males.
Nonetheless, SLC could be very useful in genetically valuable males with reduced semen quality or in non-commercial breeds that present lower male selection for breeding purposes and, therefore, a wider range in semen quality.
