Preference in the mating from the opposite sex is a male trait (i.e. females may prefer differently males of different genotypes), and for a simplicity absent in wild (WF), hybrid (HF) and transgenic (TF) females (i.e. female genotype does not influence the preference of a male).
Consistent with previous studies of territoriality and aggression in D. melanogaster [1], [15], [22], there were very large overall differences between males of different lines in their propensity to win territorial interactions.
