Making pods more alluring has become a necessity since the networks agreed last fall to use ratings for commercial viewing, rather than for programs, as the standard for sales to advertisers.

Others are "indeterminate" and will set flowers and make pods for as long as they grow (several weeks to several months).
Spun off from Sara Lee last summer, the company makes coffee pods for Nespresso machines and owns the Douwe Egberts and Pickwick brands.

Proctor & Gamble, the company that makes Tide Pods, says it's working with social media networks to remove videos that show people appearing to eat the laundry packets.
In contrast, under the FR-light enriched condition, H- e3 and H- e3/ e4 produced 4.1 and 4.5 pods, respectively, whereas Harosoy yielded only a FR-light enrichednd H- e4 made no pods; H- dt1 produconditionerage of 2.6 pods.
