Inspection of the molecules in this group revealed 5 major structural classes, comprising 36 molecules, whose structures also indicated suitability for chemical modifications and in vivo use.
Third, since the scope of the present study involves all the major structural classes across a huge set of structurally aligned dataset of thermophilic and mesophilic proteins, numerous new findings regarding protein stability, packing, latent nature of biophysical properties within secondary structures etc.- could be unearthed.
