The term "maid servant" is not commonly used in modern English. While it may have been a commonly used term in the past, it is now considered outdated and potentially offensive. Instead, it is more appropriate to refer to a female domestic worker or housekeeper. For example: - The wealthy family employed several female domestic workers, including a cook, a nanny, and a housekeeper. - The housekeeper, Maria, had been working for the family for over 20 years. - The family's newest addition, a maid from the Philippines, quickly became a beloved member of the household.
