The very idea of it mad me feel ill.
It's not that Diamandis is self-consciously kooky or "I'm mad, me!" wacky.
When a person introduces himself with some version of the old "I'm mad, me" formula, you can usually bet that you're in for a thunderously dull time.
But while the "I'm mad, me" shtick grates on TV, live it ought to translate into something vaguely compelling.
