Its initial flight tests, conducted by the manufacturer between 1 July and 5 October, were a disappointment as it could only reach a speed of at 7500 m, slower than estimated.
The best speed that the Il-20 could manage was only at an altitude of 2800 m, slower than the Il-10 at the same altitude, possibly a consequence of the increased drag and weight penalties inherent in the greater fuselage cross-section and area as a result of the placement of the pilot above the engine.
Planned comparisons (t-tests) indicated that responses were slowest on the first night shift (59 ms slower than the subsequent nights; Figure 1, middle left panel).

At the end of the study, participants and teachers at the schools attended a debriefing presentation given by the lead researcher (G.F .. On the Stop-Signal task, trials with errors and reaction-time (RT) outliers (defined as reaction times faster than 200 ms, slower than 2000 ms, and then if they were more than 3 SD above the participants' mean RT) were removed.
Interestingly, a recent ERP study [ 32] involving a lexical decision task (word/non-word discrimination) demonstrated that responses to pseudo-words that were perceptually similar to words, obtained by transposing two letters, were 118 ms slower than responses to less word-like pseudo-words (created by replacing those two letters).
The thermal cure kinetics of 3F-M and 6F-M best fit a first-order rate law, although 3F-M and 6F-M reacted slower than PEPA-M.
Transport to the upper layer (0.2 1.8 m) was slower than to the middle layer (1.8 3.3 m) and also decreased more with an increase in the density gradient, as shown by the exponent − 0.71 compared to − 0.52 (Fig. 6).
