Hydraulic conductivity and sorption coefficients for chlorinated hydrocarbons (chloroform, carbon tetrachloride and tetrachloroethylene) were evaluated for 216 sediment samples collected across a 15 m transect and a 21 m depth interval in a contaminated aquifer near Schoolcraft, Michigan.
The water budget of a coastal lagoon, Oikamanai Lagoon, Hokkaido, Japan, sporadically opening to the Pacific Ocean, is estimated by establishing a bathymetric map of high accuracy (0.3 m depth interval), and by monitoring the meteorology, lagoon water level and river stage.

A blanket survey of groundwater As has shown that in this region as well more than half the ~6000 wells distributed over a 25 km2 area do not meet the Bangladesh standard for drinking water of 50 μg L-1As, with high levels (up to 800 μg L-1) concentrated in the 10 30 m depth interval [20].
The second step is to calculate temperatures at the mid-point of each 1000 m depth interval from 3000 m to the base of the model, i.e. at depths X (m) equal to 3500, 4500, 5500, 6500, 7500, 8500 and 9500 m.
Overall discard mortality was calculated for gags released in all condition categories at 10 m depth intervals.
We quantified pCO2 generally at 0.1 0.2 m depth intervals down to bedrock from 2008 to 2010 and in 2013.
Every day at midnight 2,185 particles representing packets of larvae (super-individuals) were released for 14 days (days 15 28) in each spawning month (January and February) at 5 m depth intervals over the mean depth range (80 113 m water depth) based on the industry marine growth surveys, for a total of 61,180 super-individuals released per year.
