FedEx says its LTL services now span the whole of America.
The New York architecture firm Lewis.Tsurumaki.Lewis (LTL) is taking up residence on Hollywood's Walk of Fame with "4 Projects: 4 Scales," a new exhibition at Woodbury University's Hollywood outpost, at 6518 Hollywood Boulevard.
She talked to parents and pupils to find out what transformations they would like to see, and she got in touch with the school grounds charity Learning through Landscapes (LTL) for a spot of advice.

In conjunction with the exhibition, as part of "Varying Degrees," the L.A. Forum's 2011 On the Map series which presents lectures at new architecture projects in and around Los Angeles Paul Lewis, one of the partners in LTL, will give a lecture at the firm's recently completed Claremont University Consortium's Administrative Center in Claremont, Calif., on Aug. 25.
For the site-specific installation, LTL inserted a three-sided container with etched and printed surfaces into a long, narrow gallery space.
LTL was established in 1990, following a "chunky piece of research" that found school grounds to be in a "deplorable" state.
After consultation with pupils, teachers, parents and the wider community, and help from LTL, St Mary's has been able to create a beach garden, an outside musical area, a pirate ship and a maze - all matched to the school curriculum.
