Interestingly, they noted that there is opinion held by many clinicians that extrusion of root canal sealer from the root apex (and accessory communications Author's note) does not lower the prognosis of root canal procedures.
Stroke volume at 6 h was significantly lower in poor prognosis animals; good prognosis animals were more responsive than poor prognosis animals to dobutamine, with earlier rises in heart rate, stroke volume and cardiac output, and a fall in blood pressure (Figure 1). And Oh et al. showed that overexpression of CD73 in epithelial ovarian carcinoma was associated with better prognosis, lower stage, and better differentiation [ 18].
However, 2-year progression free survival was much lower for poor prognosis patients (56%) suggesting that the benefit will be smaller at 5 or 10-year follow-up [ 39].
Lung cancer bone metastases affect 30 40% of patients with advanced lung cancer and are related to poor prognosis, lower survival time, and skeletal-related events such as pathological fractures, spinal cord compression, hypercalcemia or pain 26.
Interestingly, similar results have been reported for gynaecologic neoplasias: Oh et al. investigated 167 epithelial ovarian carcinomas and found associations between overexpression of CD73 and better prognosis, lower stage, and better differentiation [ 36].
Such services seek to intervene as soon as possible following the onset of psychotic symptoms, in order to reduce the duration of untreated psychosis [DUP], with longer DUP associated with poorer prognosis, lower quality of life and worse social and functional outcomes (Marshall et al., 2005).
Although a lager number of pelvic fractures must be treated by our method to confirm that the complication rate is truly lowered and the prognosis is improved compared with other operative techniques, we believe that our method is a new and effective alternative for managing pelvic fractures.
These differences, and the lower incidence but poorer prognosis of thyroid carcinoma in men and the poorer prognosis in post- as compared with premenopausal women, are compatible with a major role for sex hormones in thyroid carcinogenesis in females during the reproductive period.
