However, the undesired effects from nano-sized electrode materials, such as low tap density, low thermal stability and increased interface also discount the overall performance of LIBs.
Several excipients were added to the formulation to obtain stable large porous particles with a median size above 5 μm and a low tap density.

Much progress has been made in developing high capacity, high rate capability and long life lithium ion batteries with nanomaterials, however, nanomaterials have two major issues to be addressed, including low tap density and severe side reactions due to active surface.
In addition, all of the predicted but unrecognized epitopes had low TAP binding scores, and others had low or undetectable binding to HLA-B*0702 HLA-B*0702
