The 'moderate decreasing pain class' (32.5 %) was comprised of girls showing moderate to rather low headache frequencies across time, with significant changes.
Headache-related disability was highest in patients with high headache frequency with/without medication overuse or psychiatric comorbidity (modules 2/3) compared to patients with low headache frequency and medication (module 0).
As a population-based sample was analysed, one large class with no or a very low headache frequency over the whole assessment time, for both boys and girls was expected.
We can suppose that in our patients a low headache attack frequency may reduce the proximity and the attention from the caregiver, thus it can lead the separation anxiety feelings to be increased.
