The Buddha and, among the Greeks, Plato and Plotinus, all held that life in the time flow, though not wholly illusory, is at best a low-grade condition by comparison, respectively, with the Buddhist Nirvāṇa (in which desires are extinguished) and with the Platonic world of Ideas; i.e., of incorporeal timeless exemplars, of which phenomena in the time flow are imperfect and ephemeral copies.
Notably, there were many patients who showed elevated TNF-α, but whose carers did not report an acute systemic inflammatory event, suggesting that patients with chronic low-grade conditions have elevated systemic TNF-α, and that this impacts on the progression of underlying dementia.
MetS is also characterized by a chronic low grade inflammation condition [ 20, 23].
We propose that eccentric muscle action over time can be the basis for a low grade inflammatory condition.
Most important is compaction during progressive burial, and cementation processes leading to lithification, be it under diagenetic or very low grade metamorphic conditions (e.g., Kimura and Ludden 1995; Moore and Saffer 2001; Matsumura et al. 2003; Saffer and Marone 2003; Morgan and Ask 2004; Kimura et al. 2007; Saffer and Tobin 2011).
According to these results, we may speculate that aged healthy humans without any apparent cardiovascular risk factor may sustain an increased oxidative stress and low grade inflammatory conditions.
These findings may echo some evidence that oral infection contributes to a low grade systemic inflammatory condition.
Therefore, we compared the transcriptome of Myc-induced zebrafish liver tumors with those from different stages of human liver conditions: low grade dysplastic nodules (LGDN), high grade dysplastic nodules (HGDN), and very early, early, advanced and very advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (veHCC, eHCC, aHCC and vaHCC) (Table 3).
Furthermore, coronary arteries of diabetic pigs have been shown to express low grade inflammation [ 25], a condition also described in humans with type 2 diabetes mellitus [ 13, 26, 27].
Under these conditions of low grade inflammation, we showed that indomethacin completely reversed LPS-induced behavioural changes.
The study introduces the potential use of plasma TEG to further investigate coagulation anomalies in conditions with low grade inflammation.
