I first encountered this presumption in a Project Love workshop I gave a few years ago to teen leaders of ten suburban high schools in Cleveland.
She is the co-creator of the immensely popular Art and Science of Love weekend workshops for couples, and she also co-designed the national clinical training program in Gottman Couples Therapy.
"I love these workshops", says Marija, a seventh grader.
Katz's play is the sort of thing that actors love to workshop: everybody has a big part, everyone gets to shout, to reveal secrets, and so on.
Her product line — including Crafty Chica Glitter, Mojito Papers for use in scrapbooking or decoupage projects and the Love Shrine Workshop-in-a-Box — first appeared on the shelves of Michaels, the big-box craft-supplies chain, and a variety of independent shops last year.
Ms. Youngblood loved the workshop; Mr. Youngblood, a more reticent personality, according to his wife, was stoic and did his best.
Looking back, Kathleen Marshall, the show's choreographer, called this the danger of "workshop love," when people in an intimate setting fall for a bare show.
"I didn't know a lot about children's programming, other than being a child once, but I fell in love with the Workshop because it's about truly using television to teach in a direct way," he said.
It's very obvious that the gamers enjoy each other's company, and a shared love of Games Workshop.
