At five locations, calibration measurements were repeated to evaluate site-specific calibration parameters obtained in two different sampling campaigns.
Each article was carefully reviewed by one of two independent reviewers (NKK & JMR), and characterized based on anatomical location, density calibration type and manufacturer, scanner, and scanner settings.
All readings were performed on a picture-archiving and communications system (PACS -integrated workstation by using a 19-inch thin-film transistor liquid crystal disPACS -integratedith a resolution of 2,560 × 1,600 pixels at a central location workstationation of the luminance response.
At the beginning of the experiment script, written with VisionEgg or PsychoPy, a few commands were inserted to initialize GazeParser (i.e., the "initialization" portion of Fig. 1); these included IP address of the recorder PC, location of calibration target, and other settings such as viewing distance.
At the Teakettle Experimental Forest we set up 17 individual temperature sampling locations for calibration and 29 temperature sampling locations for verification using HOBO® (Onset, http://www.onsetcomp.com) data loggers to record temperature every 10 minutes beginning in August 2011.
Camera locations and calibrations were done manually by registering points on their image plane with respect to scene points and using simple triangulation techniques to obtain both their internal and external parameters.
As usual, the first step is the location method's calibration by placing the Tx node at the cells' calibration points.
Google has gotten fairly good at using wifi signal, location, mapping and calibration data to estimate store visits, but the company still struggles to deliver insights to customers that operate in dense cities and multi-story malls.
