Instead of counseling clients to go through normative occupational paths, it is important to consider individuals' overall life-role development, where occupational development is located as one part (Jepsen 1994; Savickas 1995; Super 1980).
This is conceivable because photosynthetic activities are generally considered among the most heat-sensitive cell functions (Berry and Björkman, 1980; Yordanov et al., 1986), and photosystem II has been located as one of the primary targets of thermal damage (Allakhverdiev et al., 2008).
