Other than the tremendous amusement value of these things... the point of all this is that America was made and founded basically on freedom and tolerance -- that is, to live and let live, respect for other people's opinions.
Many of the brightest high school graduates may wish to study science but they also wish to lead successful lives, be respected in their communities, and be able to support their families reasonably well.
